NAMM 2021: Synchro Arts’ VocAlign Ultra lets you tighten BVs to taste
The latest version of the vocal alignment tool works on longer sections than ever before.
VocAlign Ultra is the latest version of Synchro Arts’ vocal alignment software, designed to let you sync up multiple vocal tracks in less time.
Ideal for stacked vocals, the software lets you correct vocal timing and pitch issues, and this version adds extra control over the strength of corrections with Tightness controls. Dialling back on this parameter brings back more of the original performance’s feel, letting you find the right balance for your project.
This latest version also touts the ability to work accurately with longer and more complex sections of vocals than ever before. That’s thanks to algorithms drawn from Synchro Arts’ flagship software, Revoice Pro.
VocAlign Ultra introduces two handy new displays that let you visualise your edits. Use waveform display to hone in on timing adjustments, and pitch display to visualise pitch information on a piano roll.
For a quick way to get started, there are also over 60 presets for aligning your vocal tracks.
In celebration of its release, VocAlign Ultra will be priced at $279 (30 per cent off) until 28 February. Meanwhile, if you redeemed a license to VocAlign Pro after 21 July 2020, you’re entitled to a free upgrade.
